GUITAR FOR BEGINNERS - TREAT YOURSELF OR A PERFECT GIFT FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL

Richard often meets people who say they would love to learn to play guitar, especially fingerstyle, so we are pleased to announce his first ever guitar workshop for beginners. I've you've never played or even picked up a guitar, now is your chance to be taught in a truly informal way without nerves, it has to be informal as Richard cannot read music himself. We can even provide a guitar if you don't own one.

Most guitar teachers charge around £30-£40 per hour, but it's hard to learn much in an hour, and expensive, so imagine your tuition from Richard, a BAFTA Nominated musician. An 8-hour day, 10.00am to 6.00pm, in a tiny hall in beautiful Salisbury with lunch and refreshments included for just £85, By the end of the day you will be playing, but numbers are very limited to allow personal tuition so book early. SONGWRITING FOR BEGINNERS - TREAT YOURSELF OR A PERFECT GIFT

If you think you could never write a song then Richard will prove you wrong as he has done countless times through his songwriting workshops. ​An 8-hour day in a tiny hall in beautiful Salisbury with lunch and refreshments included for just £85. By the end of the day you will know how to structure and compose your own song to completion, but numbers are very limited to allow personal tuition so book early. Don't worry if you can't sing or play an instrument as Richard will be on hand, but your day is really about composing as opposed to performance, so don't panic as you will be guided by a Gold Award recipient from The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters. Combine both learning to play guitar and a songwriting tutorial as a creative weekend. Although we cannot offer accommodation there is a Premier Inn just a 5-minute drive from the hall and, to contribute to overnight costs, we offer a discount of £20 if you book for both, £150 for 2 days.
